About Vienna
Vienna is everything a puppy should be! She is super cute – cue the ‘awww!’ every time someone meets her. Luckily, she loves a good cuddle as you just can’t help but scoop her up and snuggle her. Vienna has a very sweet temperament with people and is happy to be the sookie baby to soak up the attention. But this girl also loves to play! She thoroughly enjoys the rough and tumble time with her siblings, playing with toys and bouncing around with her floppy puppy feet. Vienna even enjoys playing in the paddling pool, splashing around on a hot day. She is all rounder this puppy who will bring the best of both worlds to her new home.
Vienna is now almost 9 weeks old and weighs in at 3.2kg. The person who surrendered her and her 3 siblings to a rural facility reported that the father was a Dachshund and the mother was a Kelpie mix; however, we have not met the parents or seen photos so there is no guarantee. At this stage, we expect Vienna to grow to a medium size and to have moderate energy levels.
Adopting a puppy like Vienna will mean that you must be ready to tackle all things puppy! You should have thought through a good plan of what this will look like in your home and the plan will need to cover the settling in period, training, positive socialisation experiences and appropriate exposure opportunities. Vienna will benefit from crate training as well to help her build independence and it is great for toilet training. She will also need daily exercise and mental stimulation throughout her life to keep her healthy and happy.
We are looking for a dog experienced home for Vienna where she will be a loved member of the family and included in the daily activities. She can live with another friendly and well-trained dog who is close to 2yrs of age or older. Otherwise, Vienna can be an only dog if her new owners are able to take the time to slowly transition her to this arrangement and have a schedule that allows plenty of time for her. She should be allowed inside the home to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night.
Vienna is young enough to be integrated to live with other types of pets with the appropriate introductions and guidance. She is also suitable to live with children as long as clear rules and boundaries are set up in the household for everyone. Vienna would love a home where she gets lots of attention, training and gets to come on the adventures so that everyone can have fun together.
If you would like to make this stunning girl a part of your family, then please complete a Dog Adoption Enquiry form on the Fetching Dogs website as the first step. Please include plenty of details about your previous dog experience, current members of the household and the type of lifestyle Vienna would have with you.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
