About Russell
Hi I’m Russell I was surrendered for euthanasia by my humans at their witts end for doing number ones on the furniture, which is a very common stress response, but oddly enough I haven’t missed the litter tray once since arriving in care.
I am very content endlessly snacking on bickies, and have my very own water fountain which is super cool. I haven’t shown interest in playing yet, I’d much rather get as close to you as physics will allow, with the exception of manic flip-flop-rollie-pollies on your feet.
I will at times climb the cat tree to bird gaze out the window from a better vantage point, and tend to flip the litter tub on its side so I have a front door rather than a sun roof. (Work in progress here)
I do tend to hide myself away until I work out who has entered my humble abode, but is very short lived when I realise it is the bringer of noms and snugs, so I shouldn’t take long to settle into a new routine and environment.
I am yet to be introduced to the canines of the home, but its believed that may take a little longer to establish. My clinging and reason for surrender tells my humans that I would be best suited to an only cat home, I’m not real big on the sharing my humans thing so it’s best I’m on my own
I get along great with children, so if mum and the kids want a cat, and dad doesn't want a cat, and they compromise and get ONE cat and I would certainly be the man for the task. (Sorry Dad I don’t make the rules, I’m just here for them)
So if you are looking for a tiny house panther, that puts the kiss in Hersheys Kiss, has so little regard for personal space that I can't seem to get close enough to you, (somewhere between your skin and skeleton might be what I’m looking for, or I want to see how soft, your soft tissue really is, you know, for scientific purrr-pouses), someone who will definitely groom you if you let me, and purrs like a chorus of distant chainsaws and salon clippers having a sound off, then boy am I the cat for you!
Please note, people not willing to give me a million tiny head kisses, need not apply. I’m certainly not about that unattached life.
Much love Russell 🐾
I WILL BE ADOPTED AS INDOORS ONLY - this is to not only protect me from predators and deadly diseases, but also our wonderful wildlife.
