About Sunny - 10 Month Old Cattle Dog X
Meet Sunny, a very sweet 10 month old female Cattle Dog X. She loves to play, run and be close to her people.
Sunny loves nothing more than chasing a squeaky toy, playing tug of war with her foster siblings and chewing on her chew toys. Due to her history, she is quite timid upon meeting, though once she feels safe with you she won’t want to leave your side. She loves to be with her people, and is especially attached to her foster Mum, who she follows everywhere. After a walk and a good play, she is usually happy to snooze and chill out for much of the day in her bed close to her foster Mum while she works.
Sunny is still learning not to jump up when she gets excited or to ask for attention. Her new family will need to continue working on this. She walks mostly well on a lead, though is very curious about any other dogs in the vicinity and sometimes pulls on the lead to try and interact with them. She is fully toilet trained and sleeps inside, sometimes in a crate and sometimes in her bed.
Sunny’s forever family would need to understand her need for exercise and mental stimulation. She loves to play with other friendly dogs, so would love to have a friendly, active dog for company in her new home. Alternatively, someone who is at home or works part-time.
Sunny has springs in her legs and can jump high, so will need 6-foot fencing. As she gets excited and jumps up, a home with kids 10+ would be best. She is untested with cats or chickens.
Sunny is in foster care in Merewether Heights, NSW and is available for adoption interstate. Sunny’s adoption fee is $600 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
