About Jack
Jack is a beautiful Border Collie x Kelpie who was surrendered to Pawfect Pals with his littermates. His was an accidental litter, when the neighbours’ male dog went for a wander. Thankfully his mum has been desexed so there will never be an accidental litter again, and we are now on the lookout for Jack’ forever home!
Jack is great with other dogs and appreciates their company. He is living with two other dogs in foster care and enjoys playing and running with them. He is also good with cats and has no problems with chooks.
Being a young pup, Jack still has a lot to learn, but he is already picking things up very quickly in his foster home. He does pull a bit on the lead while walking but is very responsive to treats so that shouldn’t take too long to train. He is toilet trained and has sit mastered!
Jack would suit a home with a committed owner who is willing to put in the hard yards while he is young. His breed mix will mean he will need mental and physical stimulation for the rest of his life. He currently dislikes being alone too long so someone who is home more often than not would be ideal. Jack will be fine with kids however he can still be excitable and jumpy, something that is easily trained though.
Overall, Jack is a loving and friendly boy who just wants to soak up your attention. He will make an excellent companion in most living situations as long as his needs are met!
