Dex 3year 4-month-old Red Smooth Dachshund & Milly 2years 2month B&T Mini Smooth Dachshund

This dynamic duo is looking for their forever home. A life change and an owner that works shift on the front line in health.  The owner is putting Dex and Milly needs first. This was an anguishing decision.

Dex and Milly are extremely well bonded. Where you see Dex you are sure to see Milly and visa-versa. Milly relies on Dex for comfort, she will follow him everywhere. However, she becomes quite distressed if Dex isn't around. Crate trained and they sleep with door open. Both super friendly with people, when given the time to get to know them.  Both haven't had too much exposure to children. Both can be barky when out walking especially when they see other dogs. Dex and Milly love couch snuggles and following their human around. Playing in their back yard and of course like most Dachshund when the sun is out you will find them basking in the sunshine.

We are looking for an experienced Dachshund owner. Familiar with all their traits. A willingness to spend time with training. starting with the basics. Patience, perseverance and of course repetitive routine will benefit these two munchkins.

The right home would be a quiet home with a big yard to run around and play in together. They need someone home more frequently and has time to walk them daily. They are very loving dogs and adore their snuggles. Companionship is next level, and they will follow you everywhere you go, unless its super early in the morning then Miss Milly will stay in the warmth of her bed. Dex is ball obsessed all colours and all sizes. Fetch is his favorite game. Milly is full of beans as well and will want to be part of the action.

Dex is an outgoing and playful 3-year-old Red Smooth Dachshund that loves snuggles and long walks. He is incredibly bonded with his companion Milly, a 2-year-old Black & Tan Mini Smooth Dachshund, and they can often be found following each other around the house. Dex loves playing fetch with any size ball, and he enjoys running around in the backyard when the sun is out.

Dex is looking for an experienced Dachshund owner who can provide him with consistent training and plenty of attention. He needs a quiet home with a big yard so he can play with Milly, as well as someone who has enough time to devote to daily walks. Although Dex is friendly with people, he may bark at other dogs when out walking. With patience, perseverance, and routine, Dex will make a wonderful addition to any family!
