About Fox
Introducing Fox!
Fox is a Catahoula x Staghound born 27th August 2023.
Fox is looking forward to finding his forever home. He loves his human companions and meeting new friends. Fox & his brother are currently in foster care with another dog and small children. They get along great with both.
Fox tested well with other dogs & cats. He would be suitable to live with others, or be a spoilt "only child". If you have a friendly dog at home we will need to do a meet & greet with them to ensure they get along before going home.
Being a pup, he will be easily trainable and he is eager to please his owners.
Like every pup, Fox will thrive with early socialisation and exposure to many different people, sights, sounds, and experiences will ensure he grows to be a well rounded companion.
He still has so much to learn about the world and life and would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family. Fox will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Being young he is still growing into his personality, but this young man is a very loving pup who loves to cuddle and kiss.
Fox is an energetic boy who will need lots of mental & physical stimulation. Both of his breeds are working breeds, so his new family will need to understand what is required for owning a smart, large, high energy dog.
We recommend potential adopters read into both breeds, so they can be fully prepared for the type of dog he will grow into.
Fox's adoption fee is $600 and includes his desexing and lifetime registration.
Fox is also regularly treated for flea and worms and has had his first vaccination.
To enquire more or to meet Fox, please call 0499 900 272 or email ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com and speak to one of our friendly staff.
Fox is looking forward to meeting you and he is currently in foster care near the Maitland area.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
