About Felix & Nala
Felix & Nala were two little kittens who were born on the streets to a young stray mother cat.
Mum is very shy and has never been handled, so she has been taken in by a wonderful Rescue group (Helen @ Tommy's Rescue) and our cat adoption coordinator Rosie has bottle fed the kittens from two weeks of age.
They are now 7 weeks and we are listing them for expressions of interest, as they'll be ready for their forever home in 10 day's time.
Once they are big enough we will desex them. They have already had their first vaccination.
Rosie raised the kittens with the help of her beautiful golden retriever, who they have absolutely adored climbing all over and snuggling up next to for a nap. They will be suitable to go to a home with a gentle, cat-friendly dog.
Nala has got us all quite intrigued by her coat, she is short-haired but curly; there is a wave through her coat and it feels very textured like a Cornish or Devon Rex. She is going to be a stunning cat with her beautifully marked Tabby-Tortie colouring. She is very personable and loves being around people, she does like to run very close to your feet so you'll need to take care not to step on her!
Felix is a gentle and independent guy. He loves his sister Nala and is very attached to her, but he's also quite keen to explore and do his own thing, and not quite as clingly with him human friends. He adores Rosie's dog.
Adoption details
Please direct messages to Rosie, our kitten adoption officer. Please provide as much details about your home and family as possible. We are a very busy vet hospital, so we prefer no phone calls :) Thank you.
IMPORTANT: All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. That means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting infectious disease. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families; safe from harm :)
Please note we do not hold kittens - it's a first in, first served basis once we have reviewed your application and invited you to meet the kitten.
