Gizmo - 16 Week Old Poodle X Chihuahua (Trial)

Gizmo is a teeny tiny 3kg puppy full of sweet and sassy goodness. He is the loveliest little boy on this planet. Such a sweetheart who will melt your heart away. He is also a typical puppy, learning his way through life, experimenting, tasting, and testing everything!

Talk about smart! Gizmo has his head switched on! He is quick to learn new things and commands. He would thrive in a family who had the time and desire to take him to learn not only to puppy school basics but possibly agility training, he would love and thrive on this type of mental stimulation. Though he is small, he is fast, ready for action and ready to please.

Gizmo is great with other small doggo’s, he is living with 3 foster siblings and loves to do zoomies in the large back yard and chase the ball back and forth with them. He is gentle in nature and submissive being the youngest of the pack. Gizmo would dearly love a small dog at his new furever home to play with and learn good habits from.

Gizmo is mostly toilet trained, he uses the doggy door, and he also uses the wee mat if he is near it. He would like his new forever home to have a doggy door with access to the back yard to continue with his toilet training.

Gizmo is a lovely little snuggle pot who loves to be cuddled to sleep and he will whimper to let you know when it’s time for his nap.

Because Gizmo is black, he is hard to see, and because he is so tiny, he is a trip hazard and would be easily broken if stood on or handled the wrong way by very small children. He needs a family who understands tiny puppies and how to keep them very safe.

Gizmo's yard needs to be complete, ready for a tiny puppy with permanent fixtures in place and not makeshift temporary fixtures. The yard must be cleared of rubbish and choke hazards, with no small gaps in the fences or gates. Under the house must be blocked solid, and no soft soil where he could dig out to escape. Please don’t underestimate what a tiny puppy can get through.

Gizmo In brief:

• Needs a safe and secure yard.
• Needs a family home often whilst he is a puppy.
• Not tested on cats, bunnies’ birds etc

Gizmo is in foster care in Cameron Park, NSW and is not available for interstate adoption. His adoption fee is $1000, and he is treated for worms and fleas. He has had his first two vaccinations.
Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing by 19/1/24 when he is 6 months of age.
