About Geronimo
Geronimo is a 5 year old Irish Wolfhound who is looking for his forever home! He is a big, loving boy who loves attention and pats and adores being in the company of others. Geronimo walks very well on a lead with good recall and is great with other dogs, showing interest but no aggression when coming into contact with cats. He can be unsure of men at first and may bark at them initially but this will improve with time and learning to trust his new owners. Geronimo has an outgoing personality once he's comfortable with you, loves to play and responds extremely well to training, happy to be rewarded with pats. As Geronimo is a large breed dog, he would suit older children best due to his size. When being left alone, he may bark at first but soon settles down.
Overall, Geronimo is a fun loving boy looking for an owner that will give him lots of love and attention!
Geronimo is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and vet checked. His adoption fee is $700.00.

Medical notes
At the time of desexing, it was noted that Geronimo has a small umbilical hernia, non reducible. No intervention needed.
He also had a firm calcified mass removed from his upper right hind limb.
He otherwise passed his vet check

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
