About Chirp
Sweet boy Chirp is going to be a very handsome fella! His lovely dark features are gifted to him by his good looking Mum and he also has a very similar nature to her. Cool, calm and collected with an affectionate and happy-go-lucky outlook. His motto is: A stranger is just a friend he hasn’t met yet!
He loooooves cuddles and will happily lie in your eyes and drift off to sleep. A favourite pastime is stalking birds in the backyard. He holds his young Kelpie stance, quietly and with much focus, until time to chase the bird out of HIS yard!! He loves interacting with the older dogs and will often engage in play bows and chasey with them.
He is always following his foster humans around and 'helping' with the chores. This little dude is going to make a great companion and, in the right hands, may prove useful on a hobby farm. He is quite self assured but always keen to listen and focus on what his humans next move might be.
Chirp and his littermates were born in foster care and have been actively socialised from birth. They are confident and engaged when meeting new people and have been socialised with other adult dogs from 4 weeks of age.
All of the litter have the standard traits of their Kelpie heritage and will need experienced and committed adopters willing to put in time and training with these clever, active pups. The pups are able to leave for their new homes once 8 weeks of age. Chirp is not suited to inner city or apartment style living.
***Chirp is located in VIC....

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
