Meet Piggy, she’s a Newfoundland x Alaskan shepherd type, she’s a whopping 50kg at only 9 months old!! 😮😍

She’s a pretty calm girl but definitely has a cheeky side, she’d love to wrestle with you if you let her but can be corrected with a firm voice and strong hold if needed. Still being young she does need to get her sillies out by playing with you or another furry friend of similar size/energy level and would need daily walks. Once she’s had her morning gallivant she’s happy to chill in the yard for the day and doesn’t get up to too much mischief, in saying that she is a little bit of an opportunist so low fences or some tasty socks on the line may just entice her a little too much. 🫣 🧦 🤤

She does like her outside couch or a nap on the porch with the occasional sit up just to watch the world go by. She doesn’t show interest in the chickens who are fenced off or any of the birds coming into the yard, as long as they don’t look at her bone the wrong way! 🤪 🐾

On warm days I have her inside in a pen so she doesn’t overheat, I think she would do well loose in the house as long as it’s puppy proofed and doors closed to areas that can’t be. 🧸

She’s been getting daily brushes to try and desensitise her to grooming, some days she loves it and some days she’s gets the zoomies and there is no hope getting more than a few strokes in 😝

Piggy would be suited best to older children due to her size, she doesn’t have a bad bone in her, she may just smother smaller children with all her love… and fluff!

She would also benefit from ongoing training and firm boundaries, again due to her size and even someone with similar breed experience as they’re quite unique dogs 🐶

She comes with a never ending supply of love, slobber and fluff balls! 😅🥰
