Harry

Hi, my name is Harry, I am a cute little red head and I am a little firecracker. I have come from a place that I have not had very much interactions with humans so I am still trying to figure out these 2 legged food bearers, and I am slowing starting to realise that they are pretty nice and not only do they give me food but pats and love as well. I will take a while to warm up to new people but I am working on it.

I am very playful and the best toy in the house by far is a laser pointer. I am very happy to play with it all day long, I actually think that the laser pointer gets tired before I do. I am not limited to a laser pointer for play, I am quite happy to play on my own with a soft felt ball or a spring, anything that I can flick around the wooden floors and bounce off cabinets. I am perfectly content playing on my own so I could quite easily be an only kitten.

When I am getting the pats from the humans I act quite differently from most other cats, I squirm like I am scared and back away like I hate them but I start to purr and purr as I eventually realise that I do enjoy the pats, My foster mummy thinks that this may be because I was not exposed to a lot of attention right in my early life and thinks as I start to know people are friendly and love to give kittens pats that this behaviour will change, and I have already made huge progress in this area but I still know I have a way to go.

I am more of an independent little kitten and you can see from my body shape – I am so lean with long legs that I am a kitten that is always on a mission. Whether it is to investigate what is going on in all the rooms, playing with the toys or other foster kittens or racing to beat my best time on racing up and down the stairs I am always on the go. I will come and visit my foster mummy on the couch when she is sitting watching TV but I am very fond of curling up on the end of the bed guarding my foster mummys feet from any foot monsters.

All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way, this is for their safety and health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you let them know if you cannot make an appointment.
