About William
Hi, my name is William and I am an inquisitive little tabby cat. I have come from a place that I have not had very much interactions with humans so I am still trying to figure out these 2 legged food bearers. I am slowing starting to realise that they are pretty nice and not only do they give me food, but they also give me pats and show me love as well. I will take a while to warm up to new people but I am improving every day.
I am a little more independent, so I am not a lap cat, I am what my foster mummy call a couch cat, if you are sitting down I will come and sleep next to you on the couch. I do take a bit of time to come and curl up next to you, but I do get there, if I am not on the couch I do also tend to sleep on the headrest of the couch behind my foster mummy.
When I am getting the pats from the humans I act quite differently from most other cats, I squirm like I am scared and back away like I hate them but I start to purr and purr as I eventually realise that I do enjoy the pats, My foster mummy thinks that this may be because I was not exposed to a lot of attention right in my early life and thinks as I start to know people are friendly and love to give kittens pats that this behaviour will change, and I have already made huge progress in this area but I still know I have a way to go.
I do love to know where my foster mummy is at all times and I will follow her from room to room, and when she is sitting down and doing other things that is when I decide that I need my pats and I will purr softly at her feet waiting for my pats.
All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way, this is for their safety and health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you let them know if you cannot make an appointment.
