About Yasha
Yasha is the most affectionate, smoochy, sweet, and friendly girl who simply loves life and everyone in it. She will ALWAYS greet you with a wriggly butt from her tail wagging.
From the happy-go-lucky girl she is now, you wouldn’t know that Yasha had such a hard start to life. She and her other Y-named siblings were abandoned at a country NSW pound without their mum at 10 weeks of age; sick, skinny, and flea-ridden.
Now 10 months old, she is in full health and is dying to experience a forever home outside of the rescue kennels she's grown up in.
🥰 Loving & Sweet Nature: Yasha's love language is physical touch - as you can see in the videos, she just LOVES cuddles and giving you kisses, and she takes treats very gently. She is also great with other dogs, having lived her whole life among countless others at the rescue.
🧠 Eager to Please: She just wants to make everyone happy and is a clever and food-motivated girl, so training should be a breeze for her new family. Temperament-wise, she would be wonderful with kids, though keep in mind she is a large girl and in her enthusiasm to greet you she does jump up affectionately - this should lessen when she doesn’t have other dogs around doing the same to compete for attention, and with training like every dog needs. She does settle quickly and is generally on the calmer side for a young dog.
🌍 Gradual Introduction to Adventure: Her family will need to be patient in gradually introducing her to the world outside the rescue kennels so she doesn't get overwhelmed, but she has all the signs of a dog who will adapt well and thrive in a new home quite fast.
✨ Unique and Low-Shedding Coat: Yasha has an extremely soft, smooth coat that is low-shedding. She definitely stands out with her her unusual freckly markings.
Yasha is ready to find her forever home and shower her new family with love and joy!

Adoption details
If you would like to adopt a country pet there are a few requirements.
A chat with the foster carer is the first step to determine if the pet is the right one for you and your lifrstyle. A yard check while having a meet and greet is the next step and if all is satisfactory for all parties the adoption can go ahead.
The perfect home for each individual pet is essential, and the decision about which new home the pet goes to is made by the foster carer.
