About Koa
Hi, my name is Koa, and I’m a young red female Kelpie.
I am a busy girl with lots of energy. I don’t enjoy playing fetch but do love running alongside you or going for a walk. I am extremely well behaved on the leash and happy off leash too.
I absolutely love playing with other four legged friends I meet out and about. Whilst I love playing with other dogs, I think I'd prefer a house that I was the only dog or with another dog with as much energy as I have. When I am alone with my people I happily curl up on their lap or on the floor next to them and don’t make a sound, but if there is another dog around, it’s play time!
I am very social and very attentive to my people. I am still learning my basic commands but I am a fast learner. I like to sleep both outside and inside and am house trained. I seldom bark or make a noise unless I am trying to get your attention.
At the moment I live with two other dogs which is great because I love to play. There are also these three little people here that touch me and follow me all day long, I absolutely love it.
I’d love to find my forever home, either with or without kids and I also don’t mind if I am a solo dog, so long as I get lots of cuddles and attention.
If Koa sounds like the girl for you, please send in an application today!
Koa is located in NSW.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
