About Ben 289
Meet Ben, the charismatic ferret with a heart full of love!
Are you ready for a furry addition to your family? Whether you're a seasoned ferret enthusiast or a first-time pet owner, Ben is the perfect candidate. Let us tell you more about this vivacious little guy…
Ben is a one-of-a-kind ferret, perfectly suited for an indoor lifestyle with supervised outdoor adventures. He might even enjoy taking leisurely walks on a harness! His curious nature makes every day an exciting new adventure.
Ben is open to meeting kids of any age, making him an excellent choice for families. His gentle and tolerant personality means that your little ones will have a playful and loving companion.
Ben's preference is to be the only ferret in the household. He hasn't had the best experience with other ferrets, so he's looking for a home where he can be the star of the show.
Ben is an active and outgoing ferret who loves to explore and interact. He might not be the biggest fan of toys, but he adores human attention and interaction. Be prepared for lots of playtime and quality bonding with this lively fellow.
To keep Ben in the best health possible, he should be fed a ferret-specific diet. This ensures he gets the right nutrition to stay active and vibrant.
Ben is not litter trained yet, but with patience and guidance, he might learn to use a litter box. His willingness to be handled and his curious nature make training a possibility.
One of Ben's most endearing qualities is his affectionate nature. He loves to be touched and patted, and he's always up for some cuddle time. His sweet and inquisitive personality will melt your heart.
With his confident and outgoing nature, he's ready to embark on new adventures and create lasting memories with your family.
Post-Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
