Meet Ira!
Everyone who meets Ira comments on her stunning looks. She is an absolute show stopper.

Ira is a 5mo, German wirehaired pointer x German shorthaired pointer who is finding her feet in a big, new world.

Ira’s favourite thing in the world in children. She loves to be around them and will choose to follow them, play with them and snuggle with them over others in the house.

She also adores her doggy friends and has high energy zoomies with them for an hour or so each day before collapsing into a pile on the couch.
She is a pretty low energy kind of girl who is pretty happy just to be with you doing whatever you are.

Ira is good with cats and has shown no prey drive in her time in foster care. She just observes and mostly ignores her feline companion.

Ira takes a little encouragement to do new things so will need someone who is willing to put in some time with socialisation and lots of positive reinforcement, encouragement and confidence building.
She will also need a doggy companion who is confident, playful and adores people that she can continue learning from.

Ira travels well in the car, is crate trained and is working on toilet training. Ira walks well on a lead.

Ira has learnt sit and drop and is incredibly clever so would love to live with someone who can continue her training.
