About Ember & Ivy
Hi, We are Ember (3 Years 5 Months - Brown) & Ivy (3 Years 11 Months - Grey & White) and we are sisters, not by blood, but by bond and we are looking for our forever family.
Our foster dads say that we definitely act like sisters, we dont tend to keep far from each other as we are each others security blankets, but we do occassionally have our tiffs, generally when it comes to sharing food, so it is strongly recommended that we each have our own feeding bowls and are seperated when its dinner time as Ivy eats alot fast than Ember and then goes and steals out of Ember's bowls and because Ember is such a soft nature she just lets her sister, much to our foster dads frustration and constant encouragement to stick up for her food, Ember can't tell her sister Ivy no. While we do enjoy our solo cuddle time, jealousy can come into play so if we can have shared cuddle time instead that would be the bees knees.
Ivy is the older sister and carries some strong older sibling energy, she is a big fan of butt rubs, cheeks rub, head rubs - all rubs really!! She has become a massive fan of nose kisses from my foster dads but does expect a treat after (yes I'm spoilt, its hard work being the eldest) - I do love my little sister and while we may annoy each other at times, upset her and oh my how protective I get towards my sister, so don"t - unless you want to deal with my sassy attitude?!
Ember is the younger one and is the most gentle and sweetest natured girl guinea our foster dads have ever cared for, I'm very shy and can take some time to build the bond and trust with my new family but once we do I am your biggest fan, I tend to let Ivy have first dibs on everything but I'm trying to build my confidence in being more assertive so if you can help me with that by giving encouragement, love and the opportunity to go first will only soldify our bond even more. However, I do have a little nutty side (you have to when you have Ivy as a sister) if oxbow treats are in tge area I am front and centre for them, sorry sis but they are the best thing since sliced carrot.
We both heavily love parsley, carrots, celery, leafy greens and CAPSICUM!!!! We love bath time but are not the biggest fans of nail clips so watch your fingers we tend to nibble when we are over it. We LOVE big cuddle beds (big enough for us to share) and tunnels are our favorite private time accessory.
We have been lucky enough to spend time with children and we LOVE THEM!! THEY ARE JUST LIKE US!!! We bring so much life and energy to our foster dads household and feel very confident we would do the same with our forever future family home, we are filled to the brim with eagerness and excitment to meet you future family, so please dont take to long as we can't wait to meet you!!
