Rosie was surrendered to us, being older in age has made it hard for her to adjust to her new surroundings.
But like most little dogs, she is super intelligent and has quickly found her place in her foster home and adjusting well to her new schedule.
We are currently working on some separation anxiety as she does not like to be alone, but with the help of her foster siblings she is doing very well.
Rosie grew up with 2 cat siblings, so is not really used to other dog company. But she is completely fine with other dogs, actually ignores them. . Maybe a cat trait she picked up.
Rosie does like to be with her human more so than other dogs, she is your little shadow! but we are slowly trying to move her into a more independent life.
She is such a sweet little lady, she is very petite in size, the perfect lap dog if you will.
Rosie is absolutely amazing on the lead, loves to walk and be out in the open. She does however have some reactive issues with other dogs (typical little dog syndrome) but with encouragement and training, she is becoming a lot better.
Rosie would do well with a human that can be with her 24hrs a day, or accompanying them to work, or have a sibling of similar size at home to keep her company.
Rosie responds well to firm boundaries and schedules and with continuous training she will be a great little addition and perfect companion.
Rosie is $200 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated, HW tested (negative) and given flea/tick/worm preventatives.
