About Duke
Hi there! My name is DUKE. That's what the ladies here at Remote Animal Assistance called me. They say it really suits my loyal and loving personality!
I was rescued from an outback pound not so long ago, and I'm now ready to find the loving forever home I deserve.
I'm a chilled-out kind of guy and enjoy just taking some time to relax in the company of my human friends while watching the world go by. Although I'm not the most active dog, I will admit, I do love a little game of tug-of-war and a quick walk!
My foster carer says I'm a super good boy - I haven't shown any escaping tendencies or aggression with people or food! She also says she thinks I'd THRIVE in the company of another doggy, if introduced properly.
At just 2-years-old, I've still got most of my life ahead of me - there's still so many adventures to go on and memories to be made. I can't wait to find my forever home!
Adoption details
Saving a life is as easy as...
1 - Initial Enquiry... Complete our online application form!
2 - Meet & Greet ... This can be virtual or in-person
3 - 14-Day Risk-Free Trial
If the meet and greet goes well, we can commence the 14-day trial period. If at any time during this trial period you decide that the animal isn't settling in well, you can return them to us for a full refund of their adoption fee. For inter-state adopters, we would work with another rescue group in your area to find the perfect home for the animal.
4 - They're yours!
At the end of the 14-day trial, if you're happy to proceed with the adoption then we mail out your new pet's records and transfer their ownership into your name. Congratulations - you just saved a life!
