Introducing our darling boy Dodo... just look at that face...

Dodo has told us that he dreams of a warm, loving home filled with affection and toys to play with as well as yummy treats to snack on. Dodo is a very affectionate boy and although he is 7 and soon to be entering his golden years, he has not slowed down and is still full of energy (he thinks he is a lap dog).

This lovable chap would be suitable to go to a home with older kids (secondary school-aged and above) as mentioned he does not realize his size and wants to be right beside you/on you most of the time!

Coming into the shelter can be a strange experience for canines and this guy has told us he is a little nervous so the sooner he can get out and back to socialization the better! He would also love his adopter to keep teaching him new tricks so he can be the most well-behaved boy.

Dodo may be happy to go to a home with a doggo of similar temperament but they must meet each other to make sure they are going to be besties and understand each other's play style! Dodo's adopter will need to ensure he has gradual, positive introductions to unfamiliar dogs so the 'getting to know' each other part may need to go at a snails pace but he is totally worth it!
