About Fluffy - Located in Preston
Hello there, kind soul! I go by the name Fluffy, and let me tell you a little bit about the enchanting creature that is me. I'm a sweet, stunning, fluffy tabby girl, and my name couldn't be more fitting. Like many humans, I may be a little reserved when you first meet me but fear not—I'm bursting with love and affection to give to my new best friend.
Cheek scritches and smooches? Count me in! There's nothing like a good brush session, especially when it's accompanied by some quality couch time with you. Consider it our special bonding ritual, where we can create memories and build a connection that will warm your heart.
You see, I've had a bit of upheaval in my life, which might explain my initial timid nature. But with a dash of patience and a sprinkle of understanding, I'm bound to transform into the sweetest lovebug you've ever had the fortune to meet.
I'm envisioning a quiet home where I can truly shine, either as the sole feline queen in your life or alongside my friend Lulu. Another friendly resident cat could be just the confidence boost I need to fully embrace my fabulous self.
Toys, oh, how I adore chasing them around! Picture me playfully batting at them, a furry whirlwind of joy. And when playtime is over, I'll seek solace in a cozy cat cave or perhaps snuggle up next to you on the couch. Give me some time, and I'll be all up in your business, sticking to you like velcro—a purrfectly delightful addition to your life.
So, dear friend, are you ready to invite a shy-turned-sweet Fluffy into your heart and home? I promise, with a bit of time, our love story will be one for the books. Let the cozy cuddles and joyous playtimes begin! I can't wait to meet you.🌟

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
