About Yara 11046
If you're seeking a gentle, low-maintenance, and sweet feline friend, Yara is the perfect choice. Yara is a charming, sweet, and timid cat who's ready to find her forever home.
Whether you're an experienced cat owner or a first-timer, Yara's gentle nature and low-maintenance personality make her the perfect addition to your family.
Yara thrives in an indoor environment where she can feel safe and secure. She's a bit shy and timid, so a calm and quiet home is just what she needs to blossom. She'd do best with kids aged 10 years and up, as they can understand and respect her boundaries. Yara may be a bit reserved, but she's got a heart full of love to share with the right family.
Yara is quite intrigued by other cats, but she appreciates a slow and controlled introduction. While she's open to the idea of feline companions, she may not be the best fit for a dog, unless the dog is calm and cat-friendly.
Yara is a laid-back and agreeable cat who doesn't require much to be content. She may not be into toys, but she's a foodie at heart and adores all kinds of treats. Yara is quite particular about her personal space and prefers to keep all four paws on the ground opposed to being picked up. She absolutely loves being patted and will reward you with purrs and a touch of drool – cheek scratches are her absolute weakness.
Yara is not a vocal kitty; she's a quiet and reserved girl who's as sweet as can be. She's the ideal companion for those who appreciate a calm and peaceful household.
If you have a small, quiet family, are part of a couple, or even if you're flying solo, Yara could be what you’re missing in life. Her gentle and calming presence will bring joy and tranquillity to your home.
Yara is a special cat who, with a little patience and lots of love, will reward you with her deep affection and companionship. Are you ready to give Yara the loving forever home she deserves?
Post-Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
