About Byron 10999
Are you a seasoned cat lover looking to add a special feline friend to your family?
Allow us to introduce you to the delightful Byron! This handsome kitty is searching for a loving forever home where he can continue to blossom & grow and with your support, he's sure to flourish into a loving and content cat.
Byron is a bit shy in nature, but his easy-going and agreeable personality shines through once he feels secure in your loving home. Byron has come a long way in his journey to self-confidence but he's still learning to be the best version of himself, so if you have kids aged 12 years and up, Byron would be open to meeting them.
Byron will thrive in a tranquil environment, making him an ideal companion for those seeking a serene and peaceful home. Byron is an indoor cat at heart, which means he'll be feeling safe, cosy, and always within your reach.
Byron seems to get along well with other cats, so if you have feline companions already, he may just be the missing piece to your furry family puzzle. While Byron is a gentle soul, he would prefer not to share his space with dogs.
Byron is happy to keep himself entertained, he has grown fond of feather and mouse toys. This boy also isn't fussy when it comes to food; he loves all kinds, and he'll politely meow for more if he's still hungry.
No worries about accidents with Byron; he's a pro at using his litter tray & is one seriously clean kitty!
While he might act a bit concerned initially, Byron actually enjoys being picked up and adores body pats. Your love and attention will make him feel safe and loved.
Whether you're a family, couple, or a single individual, Byron will make a fantastic roommate, always there to keep you company and provide endless affection.
Don't miss the opportunity to welcome Byron into your home. He's waiting for a family that will provide him with the love, care, and patience he deserves as he continues to grow into a confident and happy cat.
Post-Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
