About Amy
Amy is a YES girl! Walks? Car rides? Treats? Greeting visitors? Meeting other dogs? Toys? Cuddles? Early mornings? Yes please! Amy loves activity and being a part of the action. She’ll make you laugh with her excitable antics and beaming grin! Whilst she’s an energetic girl, she is very happy to have some down time and kick back like a typical greyhound. She sleeps beautifully through the night 💤 and loves affection.
Amy would enjoy living in a home with another calm, cruisy dog, and ideally with someone who is home more often than not. She can be left alone , but she does loves company.
She can be excitable with smaller dogs, so we’d recommend a home with a medium-large dog 🐕🦺; older children and no cats 🐈❌. She’s currently in foster care with two whippets, and meets other dogs regularly.
We love Amy and can’t wait to find her perfect forever home❣️
Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
