About Charlie
Meet Charlie, a bundle of joy waiting to brighten your life!
Charlie's best feature? His incredibly happy, loving, and loyal personality. This playful and eager-to-please pup is a constant source of fun and affection. Charlie's favourite things include any plush toy (the bigger, the better), tasty treats, and being in close contact with you.
Affectionate and sociable, Charlie connects with people and animals by adapting his energy to match theirs. He loves head and ear scratches, watching TV by your side, and welcoming you home with toys in tow.
What sets Charlie apart are his quirks; he's mesmerized by the reflection of a phone screen on the wall, turning bath time into a playful game, and falling asleep on his back.
Charlie's typical day revolves around being with you indoors. He'll wake up when you do, have breakfast, and then spend the morning snoozing by your side. Charlie enjoys playtime but is also content to relax. He gets particularly perky when it's mealtime and loves going for walks and playing with his toys. At bedtime, he knows to curl up in his bed.
In an ideal home, Charlie would thrive in an environment where someone is frequently present, whether they work from home or are at home most of the time. A house with a yard or easy access to a nearby park would be perfect for his love of outdoor exploration. Charlie would also do exceptionally well with the presence of children, as he has shown a fondness for them. He's not just a people's pup; Charlie is also a great companion for other animals. All he really needs is someone who can give him the attention and affection he craves.
A passionate walker, Charlie does get excited on walks. He tends to pull, using a front-attach harness, which can help manage his enthusiasm. In the past, he attended puppy school and is comfortable around various animals. With his exuberant personality, Charlie is a people- and animal-loving companion who thrives on attention and connection. In a room full of strangers, he's a social butterfly, quickly settling down with some physical affection.
Charlie, the loving and loyal Labrador, is eagerly awaiting a home filled with warmth and companionship. With his playful spirit, adaptability to coexist with both cats and dogs and an insatiable zest for life, he promises to be a faithful and joyful addition to any family.
Medical notes
In terms of health, Charlie is susceptible to ear infections but can manage them with weekly ear drops. He had a previous knee operation, and recovered remarkably well. He's also wormed and ready for a loving home.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
