Hooky was so named due to a bend in her tail. It doesn't bother her though, and it isn't expected to be an issue in the future, it just adds to her charm.

Miss Hooky is a confident, playful little pup. She's shown tremendous courage and confidence in every situation she's been put in. She gets on well with all dogs, even playing with big dogs and has been great with kids handling her too. She's new to walking on a lead, but has picked it up quickly and gets very excited if she comes across another human or dog, wriggling her little bum like crazy. She likes to explore with her foster brother, but always checks in with her human.

Hooky loves a good snuggle and belly rubs when she's not playing, and is confident being held like a baby on her back. She'll often sleep on her back too, offering her belly for rubs at all times.

Hooky would prefer to either have another buddy to hang out with or be amongst the interactions of family life. She is quite content being outside on her own when her foster mum is out though.

If you adopt Hooky, you'll have the pleasures of a cute young adaptable pup without the toilet training! We've just conquered this hurdle for you. She even sits and waits for her food at meal times.

Hooky has a bark on her, that she mostly uses when her foster brother won’t play with her, but it shows she could make a great guard dog.

Hooky will be a very adaptable doggo, good with kids, other dogs or in an only doggo family.

Basic training will be strongly suggested for Hooky to bring out the best doggo that's in her.

Hooky is $400 + $100 desex bond* to adopt and comes microchipped, C5 vaccinated, and given flea/tick/worm prevention.

*Desex bond will be refunded once pup is desexed at one of our nominated vets at the appropriate age. It is a non-negotiable conditions of adoption that pups are desexed prior to 8 months of age, unless otherwise approved by NQAR. The cost of desexing is included in the adoption fee, as long as it is done at one of our nominated vets.
