Introducing Snoopy & Oscar ! A bonded male Pair !!

Snoopy is a 9 year old male Terrier x (Black/White) & Oscar is a 7yr Male Terrier X (Caramel/White).

These are two very special little dogs that will steal your heart, as they have mine.

Snoopy & Oscar arrived at Dog Rescue as a private surrender, under very difficult circumstances. Their life long dad was a victim of the rental crisis , and our promise is to find them the perfect furever home.

Don't let their age fool you, they are full of life & and energetic little dogs that loves to play with each other or play with their foster brothers & sisters. They are well socialised and have fitted in with no problems to a busy household.

Snoopy is a home body, who loves nothing more than to snuggle up with you on the lounge, in bed, in your arms, wherever !! Oscar is a little aloof and prefers to sleep at your feet, he’s not a fan of being forced to interact with you, however, we often find him on the bed when we wake up!

Both love car rides and walks, Oscar gets super excited about walk time, vocalising his agreement. They both are good with teenagers, but I would recommend children be 8yrs upwards, as Oscar does sometimes mouth your hands when excited and does not like being picked very much.

Both Sleep inside, on your bed, I don't think this is negotiable in their minds. Both are toilet trained, but best to remind both dogs to go to the toilet, we take them outside during the day & before we go to bed. There are some mistakes, so those will have to be forgiven.

Snoopy & Oscar will warn you if someone is near your property, they can bark at the fence but will come when called.

Snoopy & Oscar would be best suited to a home where someone is there more often than not. Oscar gets so excited to see you when you return, he will jump and mouth your hand. Snoopy is just happy your home & runs excitedly around. They just want to be part of your family and will always be close by.

Snoopy & Oscar are in foster care in Dora Creek, NSW area. They are currently available for interstate adoption. The adoption fee is $900.00 and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.

PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provides individual listings with specific requirements for each foster dog. If you submit an application or inquiry and DO NOT receive a response within 5 business days, please understand that you have not met the specific requirements for this dog. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time.

This organisation's adoption policy is moderate. What does this mean?
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
