About Millie
Meet Millie!
This sweet young lady enjoys the beach and is a great swimmer, has great recall and is working on lead walking.
She also loves finding comfy spots to snooze and loves laying in the sun.
Millie enjoys the company of other dogs, as she has not had much positive human contact in her life before her time in foster care.
She would suit a home with another friendly dog to guide her.
Millie has grown in confidence; she occasionally accepts hand-feeding treats and pats but would prefer to just sit near you; her new owners will need to help build this trust with her and she may be able to accept more touch with time.
Millie doesn’t like cats (will chase them) and would suit a home with kids over the age of 10 as she can feel overwhelmed by attention from small children.
If you think you're up for a bit of a challenge with helping this young lady learn to trust humans again she could be the girl for you!

Adoption details
Our adoption process consists of:
- An adoption application questionnaire that will be emailed upon an enquiry if we deem your enquiry is suitable for that particular animal. Please read the description of our animals before making an enquiry.
- A meet and greet to ensure yourself and any existing animals are suitable for your chosen furry friend
- A house check to ensure your property is suitable. This my include physically coming to your house, a video call or photos.
- An adoption agreement to sign upon being approved for adoption. This includes a two week trial period to allow your new pet to settle into their new home.
- Please note we are purely volunteer run so sometimes it may take up to 7 business days for the team to get back to your enquiry and we will only contact you if we believe your enquiry is suitable.
