About Socks
Introducing miss Socks! Socks is a young Kelpie x Border Collie female who is incredibly affectionate and loves to spend her days getting cuddles and pats or hanging out with her humans while they go about their business.
Socks is well-mannered in the house, she is toilet trained and sleeps happily through the night in her crate. She has excellent recall and knows sit and down. She is learning her loose leash walking and has come along well in foster care, though will need continued practice in her new home.
Socks has loved living with other dogs in her foster home and would love a doggy pal or two to keep her company in her new home. Although she would be okay in a solo home too if her humans were around often or could bring her on their adventures!
Socks can be a bit of a shy girl when in new environments but warms up quickly with pats and treats. Her new family must understand that as a working breed dog Socks will need daily mental and physical stimulation and someone who is willing to continue her training and socialisation and include her in their day-to-day lives.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
