About Blueberry
MEET BLUEBERRY! (Berry for short)
Blueberry found himself in rescue after being found in a construction site by a worker! Blueberry was initially very shy and wary of strangers due to living on the streets for the first 4 months of his life.
Blueberry is such a sweetheart! He is so cute, he has a big chunky face and a chunky body to match, he will be grow up to be a big handsome cat!
Blueberry LOVES to sleep in your lap and will curl up and cuddle in your lap for hours if you'll let him.
Berry also LOVES to play and one of his favourite things to do is zoomies! He will zoom around the house at top speeds, chasing toys. He also loves to take a spin in the cat wheel! So lots of toys, cat towers, balls etc are a must to keep Berry entertained.
Berry currently lives with a number of other foster cats and really enjoys playing with them, wrestling and chasing but he will initially hiss and be standoffish with new kitties, we would love for him to go to a home with another young kitty friend!
Berry will be wary of his new owners and strange environment to start with however it wont take him long to settle in and feel at home again and shower you with love. We are looking for a home where Blueberry will be a beloved member of the family.
Blueberry is an INDOOR ONLY cat for life!
Medical notes
Blueberry is a growing young kitten and as such he requires a good quality kitten food until 12 months of age.
Blueberry is due for a 2nd vaccine on the 23/11/23 which will be paid for by Cat Lovers Ballarat if done at our veterinary clinic, otherwise we are happy to make arrangements for the new owners to have this done.

Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat! They can make the most wonderful friends and family members.
Our rescue cats have varied histories and stories and as such they each require a different home environment, we ask prospective adopters a series of questions aimed at making the perfect match so please dont be offended when asked questions. We do not adopt to a first in first serve basis and only adopt to the most suitable home possible. If you are outside Ballarat we ask that you make time to have a 30 minute video-chat with us and the kitty you are interested in so we can get to know you a little better and you can see the kitty in its home environment before coming up to Ballarat to adopt, if you are local then we hold a meet and greet at the foster home of the kitty. We only offer video chats and meet and greets to the most suitable homes.
All of our cats at Cat Lovers Ballarat are rehomed as strictly INDOOR ONLY cats and we ask that all prospective adopters only apply if they are capable and comfortable with this.
Please have patience with us as we go through all applications and make our decisions to move onto phase 2 and offer meet and greets, this can take days and sometimes a week to go through, you will be contacted whether you are successful or not.
