About Akutan
The sweet, gentle and stunning Maremma pup Akutan ( Toot for short ) is now seeking his forever home.
Akutan is a BIG solid boy with a gentle and very calm demeanor making him perfect for Guardian work with both Poultry and Sheep/ Goats . Obviously due to his age he is definitely not yet ready to be left alone unsupervised with stock.
Aktuan has been living with us in care since he was 5 weeks old and has been raised and exposed to Sheep. Chickens. Horses. and very social with other dogs as he has been under the mentor guidance of 2 other Livestock guardians to assist him in his development and coaching
Akutan loves the rain and loves to play in water so will have no hesitation on working in the rain.
Akutan has been on a mainly a raw food diet of Kibble,Raw Mince ,carrot, broccoli ,chicken necks and Prime 100. He shows no food aggression to others during meal times.
Akutan is Vaccinated, Micro Chipped and Desexed and has been wormed every 2 weeks

Property or Farm only
Secure fencing of min Ringlock or similar
If another dog in residence we are seeking a female of med to large breed
He is a gentle boy and not mouthy so kids in the home will be fine
