Hey, I'm Morty!

If you are looking for a big snuggle bug who will sit on your lap and give you lots of kisses - that's me!

One of the things I really love, is the great outdoors! I love doing the sniffs on our walkies and then coming home to relax in my backyard! While I would prefer to have someone home more often than not, if you do need to head out for a little while, leaving me in my yard with a yummy kong is the way to keep me happy!

Don't get me wrong, I would love to be allowed inside with you when you're home, but out in the yard is where I bloom the most.

I will admit, I am a little shy with new people and environments. So I'm hoping my new family will have older, respectful children, - the little ones sometimes move too fast and make scawy noises! I'm hoping my new paw-rents will be able to help me feel safe and secure in my new home. I'm a very smart boy who is willing to work for treats, so I'm thinking maybe we can work together to help my confidence grow?

A great way to help me feel safe, is to have secure fencing - I'd hate to go on adventures without you! Oh and I would love for the yard to be big so I have lots of room to run and play!

When it comes to other doggies, I can sometimes be a little silly. But if you do have another calm social dog at home, I would love to meet them to see if we can be best mates.
