About Raymond
Allow us to introduce the very handsome Raymond.
Raymond didn't get to spend much time with people whilst he was a young kitten and can be a little reserved at first, but give him time to get to know you and his surrounds and you'll have a very smoochy and playful young lad.
He has spent the last few months in foster care learning how great being a pampered house cat can be, but is now on the look out for a furever home to call his own.
Once settled in Raymond is very active, and loves play time with other cats (wrestling is involved) and his toys. During down time he loves pats and a bit of window watching. Being picked up is still a concept he unsure of and very slowly getting used to.
The type of home Raymond will thrive best in will be a quieter home, with adults and teens that will understand his need to adjust to his new space before his personality really shines. A predictable routine helps him to know what to expect.
He will need a small safe space to get used to first and as he gets to know you and settle in, then he can be gradually introduced to more of his new home and be part of the action.
Raymond is used to having feline friends, and doesn't mind a friendly canine companion either. A confident, playful & robust feline friend would be beneficial in his new home so they can help him as he settles into his new digs and for lots of snuggle and play time.
Raymond is still currently in foster, but will soon be making the transition to back to the shelter to find his furever home.
If you think your home fits what Raymond is looking for then please chat to the Peninsula staff on 5978 9001 and we can arrange an appointment for you to meet him.
