About Maisie (61461)
Maisie was a very regretful surrender from a loving home as she grew to dislike the existing small dog. For that reason Maisie is to live on her own with no other pets. She has some solid commands and general house training, good in the car and loves swimming. She is not too bad on lead but becomes nervous and sometimes reactive when passing other dogs so needs ongoing practice and confidence. Maisie is true to the Maremma breed being wary and nervous when she first meets people. She would thrive in a calm home where she can be the focus. She has good experience with children but due to her nervousness the children would preferably be older and respectful.
