About Edward 11040
Edward was possibly THE most difficult cat to take photos of. He has all the qualities of a Victoria’s Secret Super Model except for 'stop & pose'. But don't let that deter you from him...
If you're a seasoned cat owner in search of a confident and sassy feline friend, Edward may be the one for you! He's ready to add a touch of glamour and catitude to your life!
Edward, once a free-spirited outdoor cat, is now ready to strut his stuff in a loving forever home. He's a man on a mission, and he knows exactly what he likes (and doesn't like). He's a true drama queen who doesn't understand the word "no” and he’s a master of expressing himself - his personality will keep you entertained and engaged.
Edward prefers to be the only cat in the home, and who can blame him? He's the true star of the show! We're not entirely sure how Edward would fare with dogs. If you are wanting to introduce him to a resident dog the introduction should be slow & monitored & each animal’s boundaries respected.
Edward is a connoisseur of all things culinary. He's highly food motivated and relishes a variety of delectable treats. Be prepared to indulge his discerning palate and watch him savour every morsel.
He’s a confident cat and is open to meeting kids aged 10 years and up. He loves going into the car park & taking in the sights & sounds.
Up until recently Edward did not want to play with toys, however he found a faux ball of yarn & has been happily batting it around & playing with it since. Having said this, his appetite for human interaction is insatiable.
When you give Edward a pat, he'll reward you with purrs and graceful rolls, showcasing his affectionate side.
This charismatic feline loves to have a conversation with you and might even boss you around with his chatty charm.
You won't have to worry about litter box mishaps with Edward; he always uses his litter tray like the well-mannered gentleman he is.
If you're ready to welcome a feline diva with oodles of charm into your life, Edward is waiting to make his runway debut in your home.
Post-Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
