Southampton, our lovely senior fluff, is looking for a place to call a home.

She is full of love, gentle, calm with playful nature (despite her age!) and a cracking personality where she loves talking to you when you come back home, if she's hungry or wants some good ol' love. She loves to be petted and wants to be close to you because she has so much love to give!

Her daily routine usually involves basking on the sunny spot at home, barking at cats and birds through the window and playing with her humans. Her human foster sisters are aged 9 and 11 which her foster mum reports that she is fantastic with children. She is naturally a calming therapeutic dog. She tends to lay in the youngest' doorway in order to "protect" her - such a typical Maltese!

Elaborating on Southampton being a typical Maltese, she tends to be wary of other dogs when she passes them on her walks (she is GREAT on the leash btw) She seems to be territorial and defensive with other dogs at first but once she learns that they are no harm, she will relax.

She is toilet trained and also doggy door trained - can she be any more perfect?

Foster mum thinks she must haven't had a great previous life and she gets scared pretty easily even when out on the walks. With firm no, she will go sleep in her own bed or a sofa, but at any given chance she would love to sleep in your bed with you if possible. She loves being hand fed or will graze through her food during the day. We would like to find a home where she can spend a comfortable senior life being spoiled rotten as a fluff princess!
