About Coco Crunch
My name is Coco Crunch and I am a super loving affectionate and social Border Collie x Staffy girl
My foster family has been looking after me so well, and I love my little humans who cuddle me and teach me to sit, wait and walk on a lead. At just 1-½ years old I have so much potential to be the perfect addition to most family situations.
I a lover of dogs kids and toys lol
It’s now time for me to leave my foster home, and I’m now ready for my forever home. Everyone who meets me loves me due to my sweet nature and I know when you meet me you will think the same. I can’t wait to meet you.
Favorite things:
Coco loves humans preferring to be close where she can sneak a cuddle at every opportunity. She also loves going down to the dog park and making new friends with all types of dogs.
Coco enjoy lots of toys to keep her entertained
Interactions with humans:
Coco loves to meet new people; she is very confident with new people and brilliant with kids
She is not jumpy so suited to a home with children that are dog savvy
Obedience training:
When Coco arrived at her foster home, she didn’t have any basic training. Now she can sit, come, wait and drop on command. She has come such a long way in a short time but will benefit from ongoing training for reinforcement.
Animal Social Skills:
She is also very sociable with other dogs ready to jump in and play as soon as she is given the opportunity. She is gentle with small dogs and enjoys ruff housing with bigger dogs who enjoy her company. We have not seen her around cats or other pocket pets
We would love her to find a home with a male dog of similar energy so she can have a BFF playfriend
Food:
Coco Crunch loves her treats and they have helped with her training. She loves big bone and pigs ears, this helps keep her occupied during the day while her foster family are at work and school.
Independence:
Coco loves to be close to you and will follow you around or go and check in on her little humans while they are asleep. However, she is learning to spend more time on her own either outside or in her bed. Her family do work so she does spend time outside on her own
Hygiene:
Coco is fully toilet trained both during the day and overnight.
Exercise:
Coco will benefit from regular exercise and a good size yard where she can run around during the day. She walks daily and needs to keep this up as she is an active girl. Not suited to small yards or apartment living
Sleeping:
Coco sleeps inside through the night in her crate. She is happy to self settle at night
Inside the house:
As Coco is still a young girl, she will chew things as young dogs do. She will need to have things put out of her reach while she continues to mature. She requires toys/ chews and stimulation
She is well behaved in the home but is not left inside unsupervised
Ideal Home
She will be in heaven if there are school aged kids, but she will be just as content with older humans.
A home with a male dog of similar energy level but also ok as an only doggo too
Ideal Home
A home with a medium to large backyard with grass, shelter, and secure fencing
A daily walk is really important to keep her fit and healthy and stimulated
A lot of love and training! Coco should be welcomed as part of the family and not just left on her own in the backyard all the time. Her new owner should dedicate time to training
If Coco sounds like the perfect dog for you, please apply and we know you will fall in love with her at first sight.
