Ringer is truly the sweetest little dog I’ve ever met! He is a huge snuggle bug, loves belly rubs as often as possible, loves an occasional zoomie around the backyard and wants to hangout with you all the time. He’d suit a home with someone who will be able to be around him often as he has quite bad separation anxiety and gets very stressed being left alone. Having another dog of a similar size or breed around would be ideal too, he loves dogs! He’s not been tested with cats or children.

Ringer is very gentle and sweet, he just wants company so he’ll follow you around wherever you go. He’s been learning to walk on leads with a harness, and is getting much better at sitting before crossing roads and walking without pulling, but he still needs a little more practise as things like cyclists and other dogs get him overly excited and distracted. He’s best walked with a harness as he pulls himself out of his collar when he gets excited.

He loves everyone but can be a little shy when getting to know new people, and he seems to love women more than men, but he’s learning to love men too. He will cuddle up on the bed and sleep through the night til you get up in the morning. He’s very well toilet trained, he just prefers if you go outside with him when he toilets.

Ringer is a bit of an escape artist if you leave him home alone, so he will need high fences and possibly a dog-proofed backyard. We’ve installed floppy fences around the perimeter so that he can’t climb or jump over the fence. He needs walks and play every day to get his energy out.

Ringer has so much love to give and will make the perfect little companion in the right home!
