About Charlie
Hi! It’s Nice to meet you I’m Charlie, I recently got surrendered to a vet clinic after my owner wanted me to be euthanised due to being too energetic 💔
I am a typical very crazy JRT pup with lots of energy, however most of my “craziness” stems from not having been given the appropriate stimulation required and the inability to control my excitement in most situations.
I have met loads of other dogs and I absolutely adore them, they have helped me understand how to be a dog and play. I would be better suited to a home with another dog or someone who is home more often than not. I have never been introduced to a cat, so it’s unclear how I would react when meeting one.
I have met a couple of children and was very good with them, I am very people oriented and love attention and affection. I tend to jump up a bit still, so this needs to be remembered if you have small children who are easily knocked over. I am working very hard on reducing this and have been getting better each day.
I spend my days outside in the yard playing with the resident dog. I love playing tug of war, wrestling and just running around the yard.
My basic training is going well, I know how to sit and wait. I walk quite well on a lead, but I will need a strong leader who can continue my training and redirect me when needed to avoid me picking up any unwanted behaviours.
Someone who will invest time into training me further and understand that I’m only a puppy still who is learning everyday how to act appropriately is ideal in my new home.
I haven’t spent a lot of time indoors so may have the occasional accident while I’m learning.
