About Mikko
Allow us to introduce Mikko.
Mikko is an anxious and underconfident little dog who needs time to feel comfortable with people when it comes to hands-on. He does warm to you, however reading his body language with touch and allowing him the opportunity to give consent are a must. Mikko will need some work around grooming and formal handling, as these are the things he seems to struggle with most.
An adult & teen family experience with the 'oodle' anxiousness would suit Mikko best.
Being a companion dog, little Mikko is happiest being indoors and spending as much time with his family as possible.
A dog door to a secure yard would allow Mikko to pop in & out to the loo as he needs.
Mikko has not lived with any other pets before so we are not sure how he would go sharing his new home.

Adoption details
You no longer need to submit an online application to adopt a dog, puppy, cat, kitten or small animal.
Walk-ins are welcome at our Burwood East and Peninsula locations:
Burwood: Opening hours: 10am – 4pm
Peninsula: Opening hours: 10am – 4pm
For our Warrnambool and Wangaratta locations, please call the RSPCA shelters to book an appointment to meet our available animals:
