About Marshmallow
Marshmallow is super friendly and has such a fun attitude towards life! He is a high energy dog and will need daily walks to keep his body and mind healthy. The other thing he will (obviously) need daily is grooming! He has LOTS of long, thick fluffy hair that easily tangles and mats if not brushed thoroughly every day. Anyone who applies to adopt Marshall will need to be truly committed to his high maintenance coat needs. The relationship rewards with this lad are phenomenal! But in return he needs you to deliver on his daily care.
This handsome boy is cat-friendly, dog-friendly, and all-around family friendly. He is currently joyfully living in a foster home with lot of humans, several dogs and cats, and lot of human visitors who come through the house each week. He adores all the social input, the extra pats, and the dogs to romp with!
His recall will need lot of work, but his other basic command skills are off to a good start and he responds quickly to clearly communicated boundaries. He is noticeably more settled when he knows what these are. For example, in his foster home he took only 48hrs to understand that front door opening was not an invitation to go through it and was then standing back whilst people used it. He is house trained and is willing to sleep in a crate at night.
If you choose to apply for Marshall then including lots of details about the home he would be living in is really helpful."

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet. We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
