About Cookie
Meet Cookie, the adorable chihuahua x Italian greyhound mix who is looking for her forever home!
Cookie is a playful little pup who gets along famously with other dogs. Although she can sometimes feel a bit anxious, especially when left alone or meeting new faces, all she needs is a calm and loving home environment with canine companions to truly thrive.
Cookie, at the youthful age of 3, melts hearts with her cuddly and affectionate nature, especially with the people she knows and trusts. If you're looking for a sweet and snuggly companion, Cookie might be the perfect match for you!
Cookie needs time to process and adjust to new stimuli. She needs a calm and gentle handler who will introduce stimuli slowly and gently with lots of reward based, positive encouragement.
Consistent training and positive reinforcement has seen good outcomes for Cookie, to the point she is able to be left alone during the day and not take regular medication.
She needs a quiet home with another dog and no really small animals, and someone not willing to bombard her with stimulation.
Medical notes
3 year old Cookie is microchipped, desexed and up to date with vaccinations. She is also up to date with flea, tick, heart worm and intestinal worm prevention.
She is a physically healthy young girl.
Behaviourally, Cookie needs a certain environment to thrive, and may require several meet and greets with the right person to get to know them prior to adoption.
