About Texas Ranger
Howdy partners, my name is Tex and I am looking for the right family to call my own.
My foster mum says I am a really good cuddly and loving boy, but that there are couple things I need from a home and family to really thrive.
I am a nervous and anxious boy, so I don’t do so well in small, loud and busy environments. A nice quiet suburban house with a secure back yard would be perfect.
Because I am nervous around new people and noises, I may not enjoy walking in busy areas which is why it is more important for me to have a back yard I can access regularly for exercise if I am getting too anxious on walks.
When I am nervous or things are too loud, I will find a quiet spot to hide away in. It would be great if I had a nice area that I can call my own for when I need some space.
Young kids are a bit too loud for me.
I really enjoy the company of other small/medium dogs.
A companion that is happy and playful would be awesome.
No cats though, I tend to chase them and bark at them.
I am toilet trained to go outside,
I enjoy sleeping in the bed with my humans and I am okay to be left at home during the day if it is not a noisy area. Of course, I would love it if you were home a lot.
I love to play with my toys - but I have destroyed a few.
Please understand that I am a very loving boy when I am settled, but it is possible I may be extremely nervous when I meet you and may not be willing to engage.
If you think you have the right home, love and patience for a nervous big boof, please apply. I am looking forward to meeting you
Love Texy
Medical notes
Almost 3 year old Tex is desexed and microchipped. He is up to date with vaccinations, as well as flea, tick, intestinal worm and heart worm prevention.
Tex has had a vet check including bloods, heart worm test, and full physical exam and received a clean bill of health from the vet, other than needing some weight loss.
