About Loki
Loki's heart belongs to his ball, and he'll happily play all day if given the chance. This highly intelligent and active pup lives for those exhilarating beach runs, ball-chasing sessions, and refreshing swims.
Off-leash at the beach or park, Loki is comfortable, happily socializing with other dogs before continuing his adventures. He's a bit more reserved on a leash and may express discomfort around unfamiliar dogs.
Grooming is a part of life for gorgeous Loki. He gets along well with his groomer and likes to be brushed, although he is sensitive to having his feet touched or getting debris picked out of his luxurious coat.
This gorgeous boy is highly intelligent and a little cheeky, so if food is left out, he will wait for you to leave the room before jumping up and getting it. He isn't keen on giving back his stolen bounty either, but this is something that can be worked on.
Loki's ideal home is one with plenty of quality time, a calm environment, and a predictable routine. He can be anxious and needs a routine to make him feel safe and reassured. Loki's not used to being alone, so an owner who's often around would be perfect. A Fear-Free vet and/or behaviorally savvy general practice vet can provide the support he needs during his transition and for anything else life throws at him. Home2Home's program behaviour specialist is on hand to speak to potential adopters and ensure things start off on the right paw!
With a gentle introduction, Loki could even benefit from a compatible doggy companion. Loki doesn't understand why cats don't enjoy chasing games, so a home without cats or pocket pets would be best. While loud noises don't faze him, Loki's protective side shines when it comes to noises near the front yard. Having said that, every human is a friend in Loki's eyes, and he frequently tries to engage strangers in games of fetch in the park!
Loki's cheeky nature and unwavering loyalty make him a wonderful companion. Are you ready for beachside adventures and cozy couch cuddles with Loki?

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
