Pretty Ricky is ready and waiting for a family of his own!

Although the Maremma Sheepdog is a livestock guardian, Ricky has never worked a farm, or been trained to guard livestock on property.

Ricky is needing a home that is willing to put in a lot of time with training and confidence building. He can be a bit weary of harnesses & leads, and also needs to know that humans can be great and not so scary!

We are looking for a home where everyone is over the age of 12 years old. He may like to live with another dog, pending a meet and greet at the shelter first.
