Meet Hunter!
Poor Hunter presented to us as a cat with FLUTD (in layman's terms; he had a UTI and a blockage in his urinary tract) and required immediate and emergency veterinary care; our vet clinic team sprang into action, and with their love and expert veterinary care, our beautiful Hunter is now a very happy and pain-free kitty!
Hunter is a sweet boy but is easily stressed (likely a cause for his FLUTD); he needs a calm and quiet home environment, ideally in a mature household as the only pet. He loves people and will greet you quite happily once he's comfortable around you. Staff describe him as "the goodest of boys" and say that he is the best leaner-into-pats that we have! A gorgeous boy, we know that he will provide someone with perfect companionship.
Due to Hunters history of urinary issues, he is now on a veterinary prescribed diet of Royal Canin Urinary food, to help reduce the risk of FLUTD. FLUTD cats may respond to stressful stimulation with episodes of bladder inflammation and blood in their urine. These episodes can be uncomfortable, but frequently respond well to pain relief and anti-inflammatories but are considered to require emergency veterinary care. Hunters new family will need to be able to afford potential emergency vet bills, as well as sustain a good relationship with their local vet.
