Calling all Sharpei lovers in Victoria - look at my gorgeous face!! How could you not fall in love with me instantly?!

Allow me to introduce myself... my name is Rollo and I'm a lovely boy looking for a very experienced dog owner who is prepared to take time to get to know me and love me for all my quirks. I've had a bit of a rough start here at the shelter, as it can be a scary place for a sensitive guy like me, so I'm hoping I won't be waiting too much longer for my forever home.

I'm looking for an Adults Only home with people who are going to be respectful of my boundaries and let me warm up at my own pace (sorry - this is a non-negotiable for me!). I can be very unsure of new people and am still getting used to being handled, so my new family will need to be able to read my behaviour and know when I've had enough. This is why I'm looking for an experienced dog owner who knows my breed and is prepared to take the time with me!

I'm a MASSIVE fan of treats and love having things to chew on and keep me busy, so if you have some tasty roast chicken on you - I'm bound to never leave your side!

I'm also wanting to be the only fur child in the home, as other dogs make me very nervous at this stage in life, so I like to ride solo. This won't be a problem for me though as I love being the only child! I am also very scared of going to the vet, so my new parents will need to do some work with me to help me feel more comfortable and at ease in those situations (I'm sure you would be nervous if you were poked and prodded by a stranger!)
