Rosie (aka Rosy-Posy) is a gorgeous, sweet girl who loves cuddles and belly scratches. She came into foster care already knowing how to sit and will wait until told that she can eat her food. She loves playing with toys and will fetch a ball and play tug of war. She is well past the chewing stage though, being a dog aged between about 12-18 months.
It has been discovered that Rosie is definitely well toilet trained, needing to spend extended time in the house on her own while she is recovering from desexing.
We think that Rosie would do equally well as an only dog or with another dog- she has not expressed any dominant behaviours. She loves to play with other dogs though is equally comfortable just chilling with the human companions.
Although Rosie looks a bit fierce, she is anything but, so if you want a dog that looks like a deterrent but is just a big softie, Rosie is for you. She does have a deep and distinctive bark, but gets a lot of praise for not going and joining her foster siblings at the front fence to bark.
Rosie’s foster family have fallen in love with her - but they cannot keep her alas, as they already have ‘too many’ dogs! Rosie is ready to meet anyone who will return the love she has to give, and will happily keep you company and look adoringly into your eyes.
Rosie is $350 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated, heartworm tested (negative) and given flea/tick/worm prevention.
