About Chester
Chester is 6 year old red kelpie x lab with a love of life and people! This gentle soul will win you over with his chocolate brown eyes and willingness to please.
Whilst in foster care, Chester has mixed with a range of dogs of different ages and has proven himself to be social without being pushy.
Chester is a great mix of chill and happy-go-lucky. He loves to play and have a run or a walk but he also enjoys spending time in the garden of a late afternoon and a siesta in the sun. Now that the weather is warmer, he also enjoys a swim or paddle!
He is toilet trained, crate trained and is a pleasure to walk on a lead. Chester is a great travel companion in the car. He isn't the biggest fan of storms so needs access to a quiet space where he can hide himself away until it's over.
Chester has been around horses in care and has shown little interest. He has excellent recall, sits and is respectful with food, waiting for an 'okay' before eating. He's very responsive to commands, regardless of what's going on around him.
Chester has all the basics down pat with the maturity of an older dog combined with a fun-loving attitude. This social butterfly has plenty of love to share. If you're looking for a four-legged best friend who’s ‘been there, done that’ to socialise and explore with, Chester is the dog for you!
Chester is located in QLD.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
